A Night in Venice is the story of a Venetian nobleman doomed by a terrible curse because he dared fall in love with a woman loved by an evil Bishop. This Musical Concert brings together the passion of Theatre, the grace of Dance and power of Music to plunge the audience into a world of fun, comedy and spontaneity situated in mysterious 18th Century Venice.

The Bishop, mad with anger, strikes a dreadful bargain with a Gypsy Wizard invoking the bitter dark powers of jealousy. The Gypsy’s spell transforms the secret lovers to stone statues. Their destined eternity: to be cast in stone, forever close yet never again able to express their true love and passion through speech or touch.

The "Original Living Statues" perform over a backdrop of enchanting music. Not to be Imprisoned in stone, the living statues are miraculously awakened by a magic at hand. It is present day, the anniversary of their would be wedding night celebration.

A pacifying permanent caress, their embrace is the only warmth that chiseled rocks can provide. Recollecting their life eternal, the statues now attempt “The Kiss”, a soulful 10-minute succession of tableaus revealing the eternal love games between man and woman over a backdrop of enchanting Venetian Baroque music. Emotions are stirred as the lovers strive to break the centuries old curse through a ritual of passion and romance. (Mystical Fog appears) Slowly encompassing their surroundings, the performing statues symbolically usher in “A Night In Venice ”, night of rebirth, a celebration of life, love, Art and the Music of Nova Era. Beauty is again restored to the once glorious ballroom.

An Aerial Ballet and Strolling characters wearing masks are portrayed by actors of the commedia dell' arte: the Italian comedy. It is the art of improvised drama and humorously clever pantomimic acting. Character-specific costumes include Arlecchino, Brighella, Pantalone and others.
